- Level raises to 9, blinds go up as well and Richard Weissman finds himself the leader with a chip stack equalling $420,000.

Holding pocket Aces, Negreanu stole the antes and blinds by raising before the flop on the following hand.

- This Kid is good. After struggling a little earlier, Daniel Negreanu seems to be turning the corner. Holding two 9s in his pocket, Kid Poker was able to use a board of QH-6D-9D-2H-JS to piece together three 9s and thus take a huge pot.

He could face 10-years in prison and a $50,000 fine.

Contrary to a report in the Globe and Mail, Tocchet was a no-show.

Accused of being part of a gambling ring, then-Phoenix Coyotes assistant coach Rick Tocchet entered into a plea agreement whereby he would plead guilty to promoting gambling and with his sentencing date set for August 17, 2007 was reportedly passing his time by playing at the World Series of Poker.

- "Jesus" isn't as well off as Costanza as Chris Ferguson's count sits at $55,000.

- Maybe he's doing the opposite today but George Costanza, aka Jason Alexander, is sitting pretty with slightly under $100,000 in chips.

- Phil Gordon bid adieu to the 2007 WSOP after going All-in with an unsuited 5-6. His opponent, with suited K-J in the pocket saw another KJ on the board that sent Gordon packing.
