Day 1c - July 8, 2007

- Another exhilarating day ends in the 2007 World Series of Poker.

- Phil Gordon raised $3000 on one hand and people folded like chairs. He tried it again but was called by the person who was the big blind. After a flop of 7D-JS-KD and a turn of 8D. Gordon checked the big blind wagered $4000 and then Gordon called. A 2H was the river card and both players checked. Gordon had JA and the big blind had JK. Phil wasn't happy.

- Chris "Jesus" Ferguson multiplied his bread on one hand. With a flop 6C-5D-2D "Jesus" plunked down $600. The player beside him called. With a AS on the turn Ferguson bet $1500 scaring off his opponent and giving Ferguson a boost.

With QD-JC in the pocket and a flop of 10C-9S-2C, Tilly went All-in. The turn and the river revealed 9C-2C and her opponent had pocket Aces ending Tilly's 2007 run.

- Speaking of celebrities, one of the most respected celeb poker players Jennifer Tilly busted before the dinner bell rang.

- Phil Laak, the Fossilman Greg Raymer and Antonio Tarver would both be KOed after that.

- Nelly and Canseco would bust that very same day.

- Notable celebs starting play is music artist Nelly, Jason Alexander aka George Costanza, retired baseball player Jose Canseco, Shannon Elizabeth and boxer Antonio Tarver.

- Shuffle up and deal, Day 1c is underway.
