Internet Bet Ban Resistance Growing
Although there may not be much support in Congress for Internet gambling, Rep. Barney Frank says resistance is growing against a ban passed late last year.
"I think a lot of members of Congress voted for that (ban) without having given it a lot of attention," Frank said Wednesday. "And I think that there is growing opposition to it," he said.

Italy: Good For Online Gaming
According to a report released by consulting firm MECN, the Italian market will be key and will see a lot of growth.
The Italian gambling market will be, as MECN says, "A Forerunner in the Liberalisation of European Gambling Markets."
The firm is projecting that the Italian markey will grow by 64 percent by the year 2010 with turnover of €61 billion, while the retail betting market will grow by around 200 percent its current size and interactive betting will grow by about 240 percent of its current level.
