Mirage Poker Showdown Day 3
"Day 3 of the 2006 Mirage Poker Showdown started the same way day 2 ended, with plastic bags. The 27 bags, spread out over four tables, represented the number of players left in the tournament. At the end of day 3, only 6 bags would remain.
Play began at 1:00 pm Pacific time (an hour later than normal because of last night's 1:30 am finish) with $4,000-$8,000 blinds and $1,000 antes. Players on short stacks felt the heat from the first deal. John Juanda, Alan Brodsky and Eric Mizrachi all exited within the first half hour of action."

Tips Site Delivers Trojan

Trojan Horse Hits Poker Networks
"Betfair Poker released a statement on the back of influx of trojan horse virus attacks to hit the Cryptologic network. Players were advised by a mystery user to visit the BBC website in regards to an employee fraud. Upon loading the site, it was apparent to many players that this was not the BBC's website. ... However, a downloadable .exe file was easily available. It is believed this file was a trojan horse virus."
