AP Issues Interim Statement

Because the Kahnawake Gaming Commission's (KGC's) investigation is on-going, the information provided in this interim statement is subject to the completion of the final KCG inquiry. Gaming Associates (GA) is in the process of auditing AP's systems as part of the KGC inquiry. AP continues to cooperate fully with these investigations.

More news on the Absolute Poker scandal: apparently AP reps approached 2+2 -- the forum where the story first emerged and was openly debated -- to ask if they could get a stamp of approval from 2+2 on their efforts to date. Needless to say 2+2 had a few strings they needed to attach before they'd issue such a statement and ...
After a long discussion AP basically hung up on the 2+2 discussions, in spite of initially agreeing to have 2+2 put together an independent audit team. It seems now that they'd rather stick with their in-house people. Go figure!
